Dr. Robert L. Bridges, M.D. is board certified in two separate specialties being both a Diagnostic Radiologist and a Nuclear Medicine Physician. He is a graduate of the University of Washington School of Medicine. He is a former Assistant Professor at the University of California Irvine School of Medicine before entering private practice. He holds national and international patents with the University of California for research performed during his tenure. Dr. Bridges is an acknowledged expert in Nuclear SPECT imaging and has experience with PET imaging both in public and private sectors. He is also acknowledged as an expert in computer networking and teleradiology. |
Dr. Bridges has over 35 years of experience in Alaska. He attended high school in Kenai in the 1960's and helped establish radio stations in Alaska in the 60's and 70's, including Kodiak Island, Fairbanks, and Soldotna. He was a member of the Board of Directors for the Alaska Broadcasters Association for five years. Dr. Bridges was an Alaskan WWAMI medical student (E-1976) and completed his first year of medical school at the University of Alaska Fairbanks.
